7 News anchor Sorboni Banerjee has left Bulfinch Place. The Herald reports today that the popular weekender is headed to Fox25.
Banerjee, who joined WHDH in 2006, is moving up the dial to work alongside Gene Lavanchy and Shannon Mulaire on the Fox25 Morning News.
No word yet on her last day at 7 or her debut on Fox.
Hi I think this will be a nice pick up for FOX 25 I think WHDH 7 News is letting too many leave and I had been watching WHDH 7 for a since 2009 but not anymore since December 2011 I have been watching FOX 25 for News in the mornings and 6 to 7 pm and there 10 pm News also I watch there 11 pm News

Sorboni will stay at 7 until the end of may(this month). I don’t understand why she has not been anchoring weekend mornings. Poor Janet Wu last weekend,she had to cover both am/pm shifts. 7insider,Sorboni has rarely been anchoring for the past 6 months.
Sorboni apparently started at Fox25 today.
